Bitmex APIs Setup

To connect your Coinrule account to BitMEX, you will need to create an API key that will allow you to create an automated trading bot on BitMEX.

Step 1) First, you will need to sign in or create an account on BitMEX. Once you’re signed in and on the homepage, navigate to the icon in the top right corner. Select “API Keys” when the drop-down menu appears:

Step 2) Next, under “Create an API Key”, create a name for the API key and set “Key Permissions” to “Order”. Then click “Create API Key”:

Step 3) You will now be provided with an API ID and Secret Key:

Finally, copy and paste the API ID and Secret Key into their appropriate boxes on Coinrule and click “Connect”:

Once connected, you’ll be able to automate your investments on BitMEX using Coinrule. Happy trading!

Binance Futures APIs Setup

To be able to connect Coinrule with your Binance Futures account, you will need to create an API Key to create your trading bot on Binance Futures.

As a first step, log in with your credentials to Binance and select your account settings on the top right and click on “API Management”.

Then, select the proper option to start the API Key creation process. Make sure you have enabled the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) since this is required to go ahead in the process. Give a name to the new API first.

Then Binance will ask to confirm the API creation according to your security settings. Once the API is created, click on “Edit Restrictions”

For enhanced security, select Restrict access to trusted IPs only. Copy the list of IPs on Coinrule and paste it on Binance.

We strongly advise you to enable only the “Read” and the “Enable Futures” options related to the API created. Remember, Coinrule doesn’t need any withdrawal permissions, so for your own security, you don’t have to select this option.

Finally, you have to copy/paste both the API Key and the Secret Key in the “Exchanges” section of your Coinrule account

You are now ready to build your trading bot on Binance Futures with Coinrule!

OKX APIs Setup

To be able to connect Coinrule with your OKX account, you need to create an API Key that will allow the two accounts to communicate with one another.

As a first step, log in with your credentials to OKX and select your account settings on the top right and click on “API”.

Make sure you have enabled the Google Authentication (2FA) since this is required to go ahead in the process. Create a V3 API Key as the V1 will be dismissed soon by OKX.

You will be asked to name the new API, choose a passphrase, grant the needed permissions and confirm with your Google Authenticator code. Remember that Coinrule doesn’t need withrawal right for your API. Also, there is no need to specify any specific IP address.

The API has been created. Click on “view” and digit your passphrase and the Authenticator code to access the details.

You can now view your API key and Secret Key.

Finally, copy/paste both the API Key and the Secret Key in the “Exchanges” section of your Coinrule account and digit your passphrase.

You are now ready to run your rules on your OKX account!

Bitpanda Pro APIs Setup

To be able to connect Coinrule with your Bitpanda Pro account, you need to create an API Key and import it into your Coinrule Exchange page. Make sure you connect the Bitpanda Pro and not the Bitpanda Platform.

As a first step, log in with your credentials to Bitpanda Pro and click on the top right icon with the . There you will find API.

In the following page click on the “New API Key” button.

Name your API Key and make sure you grant all the required permissions like shown below. Finally, click on the “Create API Key” button.

You will receive now an email to confirm the action. Just click on the link provided in the email and you will be redirected in your Bitpanda account.

All you have to do now is to copy/paste the API Key into the Exchange page on Coinrule. Select Bitpanda from the dropdown and paste your API key.

You are now ready to trade with Coinrule on your Bitpanda Pro account!

Kraken APIs Setup

To be able to connect Coinrule with your Kraken account, you need to create an API Key and import it into your Coinrule Exchange page.

As a first step, log in with your credentials to Kraken and click on the top right button, under “Settings” you will find API.

In the following page API Key Management, click on the “Generate New Key” button.

Set up now your API Key and make sure you grant all the required permissions as shown in the image below. All other fields are optional, so fill them only if you have the proper expertise. Finally, click on the “Generate Key” button.

You see now you API Key and Private Key.

All you have to do now is to copy/paste the API Key and Private Key into the Exchange page on Coinrule.

Now it’s time to Copy/Paste your keys into the page and click on “Connect”.

You are now ready to trade with Coinrule on your Kraken account!

Coinbase Advanced Trade APIs Setup

To create your API Key, login to your Coinbase Advanced Trade account and select the Profile Information on the top right. You will find the API menu among the options.

In the “API settings” Tab, you can select “add new API” or click on “create one”.

You will be asked to:

• select the profile connected to the API
• assign the proper permissions (we advise to select only “View” and “Trade”)
• create your own passphrase (you will be given one by default, but it can be changed)
• enter in your Two-Factor Authentication code that you received via SMS to your mobile number when you click on “send me a code”.

You can leave the IP Whitelist setting blank.

If you didn’t enable your 2FA on Coinbase, click HERE to find out how to do it (and why it is a good idea to have it activated!).

Your Secret Key will be generated so you can copy it and record it in a safe place, as it won’t be displayed again. 

Closing the pop-up showing your Secret Key you will see your new API Key in your Profile Information.

You have correctly created your API Key, Secret Key and the Passphrase. Copy and paste them in your Coinrule account in the “Exchange” section.

You are now ready to run your rules on your Coinbase Advanced Trade account via Coinrule!

Finally, you have to copy/paste both the API Key and the Secret Key in the “Exchanges” section of your Coinrule account.

You are now ready to automated trading bot on Binance with Coinrule!
